Me Taking A Mirror-style Selfie Photo Prompt

The Genius Prompt

Use the uploaded photo as the ONLY identity reference. Preserve my exact facial identity, facial structure, skin tone, hairstyle, hair texture and natural body proportions. Do not beautify or alter my face.

Create an ultra-realistic vertical 9:16 black-and-white DSLR photograph of me taking a mirror-style selfie using a smartphone.

POSE: Capture me from behind in a close, over-the-shoulder side profile. My body faces the wall while my head turns slightly downward toward the phone. My right hand rests on top of my messy hair, fingers spread naturally through it. My left arm is raised, holding a black smartphone vertically at face level, with the camera app visible on the screen. The phone screen shows a recursive selfie effect, capturing the same scene within itself. Keep my expression serious and relaxed.

OUTFIT: Dark, washed-black denim jacket with visible faded texture, stitching, seams and a natural relaxed fit.

BACKGROUND: Plain grey tiled wall with large rectangular stone-textured tiles, subtle grain, thin horizontal and vertical grout lines, and slightly uneven natural tonal variations. No decorations or additional objects.

CAMERA & COMPOSITION: Tight vertical portrait photographed from slightly behind and to the left of the subject, approximately 1–1.5 metres away. Frame the upper back, shoulder, side profile, raised hand and smartphone. Position the phone in the left-middle of the frame and the head and shoulder on the right, leaving generous empty tiled wall space in the upper-left area. Natural perspective and realistic proportions.

LIGHTING & STYLE: Soft, diffused indoor lighting with gentle shadows, subtle highlights on the hair and phone, and realistic tonal separation. Pure monochrome black-and-white treatment with rich blacks, textured mid-grey tones, bright but controlled highlights, subtle film grain and an authentic candid photography aesthetic.

REALISM: Natural hair strands, realistic skin texture, detailed denim fabric, anatomically correct fingers, accurate smartphone proportions, believable phone-screen reflections and authentic camera-app details.

NEGATIVE: No colour, no CGI, no artificial glow, no excessive sharpening, no smooth plastic skin, no distorted hands, no extra fingers, no duplicated limbs, no warped phone and no altered facial identity.
